It is now universally accepted that the environmental crisis is one of the greatest problems of the contemporary world. Different groups are pondering over the predicament from their own discrete angles. Motivation for the present contribution was provided by the works of Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Irmail R. al Faruqi and many others who have played a significant role in generating ecological consciousness.
