There is a movement against Islam to get it defamed. For this purpose it is said that Islam, in theory, gives certain status to the woman, but practically she is inferior to man. Economically she is handicapped and virtual slave of the man. But having gone through the text books of Islam one is to see that the true picture is not as grim as has been depicted by certain sections of media. Due to this reason, the author has offered this study in this book in which economic safety of woman in Islam is highlighted in a detailed manner.
