This book is an English translation of the discourses of Syed Muhammad Zauqi, an accopmlished Sufi saint and a Gnostic of God. The author has talked about the Being of God and His relationship with the universe and man, prophethood and its blessings, the role of Sufi Saints in guiding the humanity, and the reality of man, the purpose of his life and the way to achieve it. Quoting freely from Quran, traditions of Prophet Muhammad and lives of the friends of God, he has provided the correct angle of vision for seekers of the Truth. He holds aloft a beacon of light which can guide the wandering and suffering humanity to the right path - the path of salvation and eventual peace. As defined by him in another book, "discourses (of a saint) are not merely words but are verbal images of the speaker's deep spiritual experience in such a luminous way as to produce an electrical effect on listeners and generate the same spiritueal conditions in the hearts of his disciples." This book is therefore different from ordinary books as it has the potential and capability to cure ailing hearts and enlighten confused minds.
