Al-Lu'lu wal Marjan

Two names have always been in the first line, when the talk falls upon hadeeth: Muslim and Bukhari. This collection Al-Lu'lu wal-Marjan is a collection of hadeeth agreed upon from the collections of these two outstanding scholars, to whom we all owe a lot of gratitude. The collection was made by the eminent religious scholar of Egypt, Muhammad Fu'wad Abdul Baqi and he named it Al-Lu'lu wal-Marjan, fima ittafaq alaihis-Sheikhan (Pearls and Corals on which the two Sheikhs are agreed upon). In fact these Ahadith are much more than the diamonds and pearls for us from the Prophet, peace be upon him.

Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan has rendered the hadeeth into English and the original Arabic text is printed along with the English translation. The book consists of two volumes and is really one of the treasures out of the Islamic heritage.
